Stimulating Public Policy
The Latino Policy Institute (LPI) at Roger Williams University seeks to stimulate public policy discourse by objectively examining and communicating the evolving Latino experience in Rhode Island.

The Latino Policy Institute partnered with Common Cause RI on Democracy for Real, an event aimed at educating the public on how a bill successfully becomes a law in Rhode Island. Featured speakers included: Senator Sandra Cano, Paige Clausius-Parks from Rhode Island KIDS COUNT, and Steph Machado from WPRI-TV.
